San Diego Water

San Diego residents enjoy access to water services through the city of San Diego’s public utilities department. The drinking water provided by the city of San Diego is a safe source of clean water, and also meets all state and federal standards. San Diego imports almost all of its water, with sources coming from the Colorado River, State Water Project, and other local sources. San Diego County has various water districts serving each area of the county. Below are water districts with descriptions of their service areas.

Santa Fe Irrigation District serves Rancho Santa Fe and Solana Beach.  You can reach them by phone at (858) 756-2424

Rincon Del Diablo Municipal Water District serves Escondido, San Marcos, and San Diego.  You can reach them by phone at (760) 745-5522

Helix Water District serves La Mesa, Lemon Grove, El Cajon, and parts of Spring Valley.  You can reach them by phone at (619) 466-0585

Lakeside Water District serves the community of Lakeside.  You can reach them by phone at (619) 443-3805

Otay Water District serves Spring Valley, La Presa, Calavo Gardens, Jamul, communities in the eastern half of the city of Chula Vista, and in Otay Mesa along the international border with Mexico.  You can reach them by phone at (619) 670-2222

Padre Dam Municipal Water District serves Santee, El Cajon, Lakeside, Flinn Springs, Harbison Canyon, Blossom Valley, Alpine, Dehesa, and Crest.  You can reach them by phone at (619) 258-4600

San Diego Cable and Internet

Spectrum (formerly Time Warner) Spectrum offers exceptional service and quality, with hundreds of channels in stunning high definition, secure and lightning fast Internet connections, and a reliable home network that features all digital connections. Cox Communications. Cox Communications offers residents a wide array of services, including TV, Internet, home security, home phone, and more.
