Oceanside Beach Houses

The most expensive home on the sand in Oceanside sold for $5.5M in August of 2015 in the oceanfront Saint Malo Beach neighborhood. West of the Buena Vista Lagoon is 76 year old exclusive gated community St. Malo. Around two thirds of the 80 homes have been owned by the same family for over 40 years, many by historically prominent families. Architecture is Normandy village style. Roofs must be slanted and have wood shingles, with red-brick chimneys and animal-shaped weather vanes. Oceanside's luxury beachfront condos include Surfer's Paradise, Pacific View, Oceanside Terraces, and Montego Condos.
