Marina District Downtown San Diego The Best Place To Live
The Marina District was a former industrial and commercial anchor of downtown San Diego and has been redeveloped into an established neighborhood full of shopping, restaurants, residences, and activities. The Marina District is located at the southwest end of downtown San Diego southeast of the Gaslamp District and north of the Columbia District. The Marina District was initially developed by Alonzo Horton as he was building the Gaslamp District. Neighborhood anchors include Pantajo Park, Children's Museum Park, Seaport Village, San Diego Convention Center, a waterfront boardwalk, and the USS Midway Museum and Maritime Museum.
