San Diego Beachfront Homes

Starting up in Oceanside on the Strand and S Pacific Street you will find large waterfront condominium buildings and single-family homes beginning at the Oceanside Pier and heading south down to St. Malo.

Carlsbad oceanfront homes are in Terra Mar off of Tierra Del Oro and Shore Drive and at the most northern portion of Carlsbad in The Beach a gated community of fourteen homes.

Encinitas oceanfront homes are located off of Neptune Avenue a one-way street and south of A Street there are seven beachfront homes adjacent to Moonlight Beach.

There are no true beachfront homes in Cardiff By The Sea. Homes are located across the 101 and behind the railroad tracks.

North of Fletchers Cove, the North Bluff area of Solana Beach has beachfront single family homes. The South Bluff area has beachfront condominium communities like Del Mar Beach Club, Seascape Sur, Solana Beach and Tennis Club, Surfsong, and Seascape Shores.

The most exclusive oceanfront community in San Diego is Sandy Lane adjacent to Dog Beach. South of Sandy Lane in the Beach Colony runs Ocean Front with the most prime beach homes in all of San Diego. South of Seagrove Park oceanfronts are up along the bluffs.

La Jolla beach houses begin in La Jolla Farms with private gated Blacks Beach, extend through La Jolla Shores to the La Jolla Shores Beach, run along Torrey Pines and the Cove through the Village, south to the Beach Barber Tract / Windansea Beach area, along Camino De La Costa in Lower Hermosa and end along the bluffs in Bird Rock.

Most Pacific Beach beachfront residences are condominiums until you get south to the Mission Beach strand where Belmont Park is located.

In Coronado Island, there are beachfront homes around the Hotel Del and condominium towers on the sand in Coronado Shores.
